Woman finds dummy grenades and rocket launcher at parents' Alhambra home

A woman found 26 dummy grenades and a rocket launcher in an Alhambra home on Saturday. A bomb squad removed them soon after they were determined to be inert devices, reports CBSLA.

Police received a call from a woman who reported discovering military weapons while she was cleaning out her parents' house on the 200 block of South El Molino Street, according to officials.

Authorities and Alhambra firefighters evacuated the surrounding area until a sheriff’s bomb squad determined those weapons to be innocuous practice devices and removed them for proper disposal, says the Pasadena Star-News.

  1. Dummy weapons are not news. Real grenades and rocket launchers are. Just FYI
