Two suspects arrested for attempted murder following Alhambra stabbing

Two suspects were arrested Saturday following a stabbing on the 200 block of South Curtis Avenue.

Police found the victim after responding to a report of a fight at 1:25 a.m., according to a statement from Alhambra Sgt. Jim Hammond. Officers arrested Eric Gonsalo Hernandez, 23, and Marco Antonio Beltran, 28, in connection with the stabbing, the Pasadena Star-News reports

The male victim suffered stab wounds to the abdomen, Alhambra Sgt. Jerry Johnson told the Star-News. He was transferred to an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

A motive is unknown and the incident is under investigation.
