The Alhambra Source is becoming a nonprofit and you can help

Since 2006, The Alhambra Source has grown to be a local media resource, serving residents of Alhambra and the larger San Gabriel Valley. We have made many strides because of your support.

We are in a period of transition from being generously supported by The Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California to becoming our own non-profit organization. A non-profit organization called Community Partners has agreed to sponsor us under their exempt status while we undergo this transition.

We have limited funding through June, 2018, but not enough to operate as your community resource.

Your insights and suggestions can help us preserve and improve the operation of the Alhambra Source.

We, the Alhambra Source Staff and Advisory Board, need your help by filling out this 5 minute survey.

Please kindly complete the survey by January 25: https://uscannenberg.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_3pyrhmJWJFsL9sN

Independent journalism is a bedrock of democracy--and it's in crisis. Here at the Alhambra Source, we're committed to covering the local stories that matter most to you. We don’t have advertisers and we don’t have pay walls, but we do have bills. You read to the end of this story. That's great. But this kind of journalism will end without public support. Join us! Support the work and the democratic values it serves. Donate now!
