Alhambra Source Needs Your Support! Alhambra Source is the only independent news outlet dedicated to covering what’s happening in local city government, business, education, crime, arts, youth. We are made up of two editors and dozens of community volunteers — and we need your support to continue.
We launched in 2010 as part of the Alhambra Project, a research initiative at USC Annenberg’s School for Communication and Journalism. Since then we’ve worked with community members, local youth, and USC students to report on the issues that matter the most to Alhambra residents. Our contributors speak more than 10 languages and range from high school students to retirees. The site has served as a source of news and analysis, an outlet for expression, and a forum where a diverse group of strangers comes together to become a community.
Your gift can help us continue to independently report news in Alhambra and give community members an outlet and a voice. Donate here to fund our editors, events, and community reporters training workshops. All donations are tax deductible. The donation will be managed by our host institution, University of Southern California, but the funds will be reserved exclusively for Alhambra Source.
Thank you for helping us continue to bring independent local news to Alhambra.
