Support the Alhambra Source
Alhambra Source is a project of Los Angeles-based Community Partners, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. We subscribe to standards of editorial independence adopted by the Institute for Nonprofit News: Our organization retains full authority over editorial content to protect the best journalistic and business interests of our organization. We maintain a firewall between news coverage decisions and sources of all revenue. Acceptance of financial support does not constitute implied or actual endorsement of donors or their products, services or opinions.
We accept grants and sponsorships from individuals, organizations and businesses for the general support of our activities, but our news judgments are made independently and not influenced by donor support.
Our organization may consider donations to support the coverage of specific topics, but our organization maintains editorial control of the coverage of those subjects. We will cede no right of review or influence of editorial content, nor of unauthorized distribution of editorial content.
Our advisory board has no editorial control nor access to stories before publication.
Our Funding
We have developed multiple revenue streams including tax deductible donations, commercial sponsorships, organizational partnerships and memberships. For the purpose of transparency, here is a list of all of our past and present sponsorships and partnerships as well as a listing of all public donors who give a total of $2,500 or more per year. We will accept anonymous donations for general support only if it is clear that sufficient safeguards have been put into place that the expenditure of that donation is made independently by our organization and in compliance with INN’s Membership Standards.

Underwriting Opportunities
The Alhambra Source offers tax-deductible opportunities for businesses and organizations to raise their profiles by underwriting our community news coverage. Sponsorships allow you to reach our audience of engaged, educated and active San Gabriel Valley residents without competing with a clutter of ads and annoying pop ups. Partnering with us sends a message that your business or organization cares about the SGV community, civic engagement, and preserving our democratic way of life.
