At 7 pm, Alhambra’s City Council will vote on Jessica Binnquist’s contract as city manager. According to the staff report, Binnquist’s contract will be through December 31, 2022, with an option to renew afterward; the contract will include an annual performance review; severance pay will be increased from 9 months to 12 months pay; and the City can terminate the City Manager without cause during the first 90 days of the contract.

According to the contract, Binnquist’s starting salary will be $239,196. You can read more here.

The Council will also give out commendations to the winners of the Holiday Home Decorating Contest, and to Marisol Grier, who host a holiday celebration at Lindaraxa Park every year.

The consent agenda includes acceptance of a $30,000 grant to create a plan to target homelessness, in conjunction with the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments.
