SGV Pride took over Pasadena’s Central Park on a rainy Saturday to celebrate the history, culture and progress of the San Gabriel Valley’s LGBTQ community. Drag queens and kings played a game of croquet based on the queen’s croquet game in “Alice in Wonderland.” Attendees were treated to an exhibit of LGBTQ athletes who broke barriers in their respective sports. They also enjoyed book talks, carnival “gaymes,” an antique car show, a health fair and a blessing of the animals to start off the event. Check out some photos for yourself.
