Alhambra , CA United States

The medical group in charge of the Camellia Court development wants to change the land’s designation from Valley Boulevard Specific Plan – Retail Commercial to Valley Boulevard Specific Plan – Office Professional, in order to allow a new medical office building to be built on the site as previously planned. At 7 pm, the Alhambra City Council will conduct a public hearing on this matter.

The City Council will also hear a presentation of Alhambra’s annual financial statements.

Other agenda items include a first reading of an ordinance to reorganize City Hall’s human resources department. The consent agenda includes a request to find a vendor that would provide an electronic permitting system, as well as a request to further appropriate funds for Rincon Consultants as they update the General Plan. The City also wants to appropriate additional funds to their CEQA/NEPA consultant.

At 5:30, Assistant City Manager Tara Schultz will receive recognition for her 19 years of service.
