San Gabriel Valley Humane Society

851 E Grand Avenue
San Gabriel , CA 91776 United States
Phone: 626-286-1159

Name: Valentino
Gender: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair mix
Age: 8 years old
Weight: 11 pounds
Fur: Black and White

Valentino is a handsome gentleman who is always dressed to impress, wearing a tuxedo with style worthy of the designer he is named for. He can be a little coy when first approached, then quickly requests and accepts attention. He enjoys loving strokes that turn into massages of his soft sleek fur coat. Valentino is a calm guy and is happiest just hanging out with people. Looking forward to enjoying a long retirement, at 8-years-young, Valentino wants a place by a window to watch the world go by. In support of this goal, his resume boasts previous experience as a participant in a sleep study at the San Gabriel Institution of Napping Technology. While his play style is slow-and-go, he still enjoys engaging in games with people. Valentino is a smart guy and knows he can’t catch the laser red dot, so he usually doesn’t bother to chase it. He likes to have a toy or feather fly by for him to swing at. Valentino will do fine in a multi-cat family, or love to be your sole companion. If you’re looking for a calm, loving guy, then Valentino is Bachelor #1 waiting to steal your heart. Please come in to Meow Manor to meet him and see if yours is the family to bring Valentino home for Valentine’s Day. His adoption fee is $99 and includes neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip and a free wellness exam at a participating veterinarian. Valentino also qualifies for the “Senior for Senior” adoption program.

Name: Cleocattra
Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Short Hair mix
Age: 2 1/2 years old
Weight: 8 pounds
Fur: Gray and White

Cleocattra is a very calm and petite two-and-a-half year old tabby who was rescued from a life on the streets. When she first arrived at the shelter, Cleocattra preferred watching the activity around her from the safety of a cardboard box. She still is shy, but no longer needs to hide in a box. Cleocattra likes people to approach her slowly and she clearly relaxes into a hand stroking her head and ears. She is becoming more interested in playing as she comes forward to investigate toys and is alert following flying feathers with her eyes. These are signs her next step will be pursuing the toy. Cleocattra needs a companion or family that will be patient with her and give her the opportunity to be the queen of her new forever home. Please come meet Cleocattra to see if you can give her the adoration she is seeking and deserves. Her adoption fee is $99 and includes spay surgery, vaccinations, microchip and a free wellness exam at a participating veterinarian.
