Name: Sweet Potato
Gender: Female
Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier
Age: 5 years
Weight: 67 pounds
Fur: Brown and White

Sweet Potato is a lovely 5-year-old American Staffordshire terrier girl with the most adoring facial expressions, a soft caramel and white coat, and soulful brown eyes. This lovely girl has quite the tender disposition along with a funny and charming personality to match her darling looks. At 5 years of age and weighing about 67 pounds, Sweet Potato was surrendered to the shelter by her previous owners. Although not much is known about her past, her sweet and funny personality is showing everyone what a great pup she is! She walks well on the leash, is learning how to play with toys and is becoming a little more active on her walks. She does, however, have a silly and a tad dramatic side to her. She has been known to stop in the middle of her walks and lay down on the grass or ground and just enjoy the moment! It is quite endearing to see her do this and very tempting to lay down next to her and just stare at the blue skies. If you are that special person or family who can appreciate her tenderness and silliness and would like to give Sweet Potato a second chance at a good life with a forever family, please stop by and meet this charming girl! Her adoption fee is $145 and includes spay surgery, vaccinations, microchip and a free wellness exam at a participating veterinarian.

Name: Precious
Gender: Female
Breed: German Shepherd
Age: 4 years
Weight: 66 pounds
Fur: Sable

Precious is a lovely 4-year-old all-sable German Shepherd girl with soulful brown eyes and perky long ears that seem to go on for miles. Weighing about 66 pounds, this gorgeous girl arrived at the shelter slightly underweight with a dull grey coat and loose clumps of fur around her body when she was surrendered by previous owners. It was quickly noticed that Precious is a smart girl who had learned basic commands such as “come,” “sit,” and “stop” for treats. While she is great on the leash and on walks, she does not know anything about toys and is shy when meeting people for the first time. She is great with kids and leashed trained. During her time at the shelter and with much-needed TLC, Precious is slowly coming out of her shell, making the most of her walks and baths that make her black coat shine much brighter. Typical of her breed, Precious is a very intelligent girl who needs a family who can keep her engaged in learning new things. More importantly, Precious deserves her own forever loving home who will treat her as another family member and show her all the joys of living inside a home, playing with toys and going on adventures. If you’re that forever loving family, please stop by to meet Precious! Her adoption fee is $145 and includes spay surgery, vaccinations, microchip and a free wellness exam at a participating veterinarian.
