Lovely Lola is a chihuahua mix girl, a little over 5-years-old, weighing about 8 pounds. She is a good-looking girl with a short black and tan coat that shines after she has had a bath. Lola is a sweet girl who was surrendered due to a difficult family situation. She bonded with the staff who cared for her, and learned to accept attention from volunteers. Lola loves getting attention, and will easily jump into a friendly lap, sharing kisses with her human friends. Lola seems to enjoy going for walks to the park. She walks well on leash and is easy to handle. She is friendly with people and with other dogs. Lola recently appeared on Pet Project LA, showing what a well-behaved, calm girl she can be. Prior to her TV appearance, Lola spent the night with one of our volunteers who reports Lola was a perfect house guest. Lola deserves a new secure and loving home. If you can offer Lola a forever home, please come and meet her, she is eager to start her new life.

Chocolate is a very handsome boy who is as sweet as his name. Chocolate was surrendered to the shelter by an owner who could no longer care for him. Chocolate is thought to be a chihuahua/dachshund mix, weighing about 20 pounds. He is about 2-years-old. Chocolate is a friendly, affectionate dog who loves the company of people. He greets new friends with a smiling face, wagging tail, and lots of kisses to share. Chocolate seems interested in meeting other dogs, and playfully interacts with many of the dogs he has met at the shelter. He also loves going for walks. This happy boy is full of personality, and just wants to find a loving home where he is treated as part of the family. Chocolate needs daily exercise and would love to have a big yard where he can run and play. If you have room in your heart for a great little dog, come meet Chocolate – he is as sweet as a Hershey’s kiss!
