Location
San Gabriel Valley Humane Society
Every two weeks, we feature two pets from the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society who need forever homes. If you’re interested in adopting either of these dogs, visit www.sgvhumane.org for more information.
Name: Dodger
ID: 27173
Gender: Male
Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier
Age: 6 years old
Weight: 92 pounds
Fur: Gray
Dodger is a six and a half year old blue American Staffordshire terrier who is an extremely handsome boy with a smooth grey coat, caramel colored eyes and silly floppy ears. His former owners moved to a new location where pets were not allowed and since then he’s become a favorite of our volunteers as he lights up in the presence of people. Dodger is a 92 lb love bug who likes to spend as much time on your lap as he does on a walk. He loves curling up at your feet and is very generous with his kisses; his favorite pastime is tossing his toys up in the air and catching them. If you’re looking a loving companion to spend your days with playing, walking and cuddling then Dodger is the dog for you!
Name: Hot Dog
ID: 29087
Gender: Male
Breed: Miniature Pinscher
Age: 7 years old
Weight: 14 pounds
Fur: Black and Brown
Hot Dog is a very handsome Miniature Pinscher boy who was surrendered to the shelter when his owner passed away. Hot Dog is a little timid with meeting new people, but he seems to enjoy getting pets once he relaxes. He has also shown a friendly interest in being with other dogs. Hot Dog would love to find a secure and loving home where he can again feel part of a family. He would probably do best with another dog in the home to help him transition to family life again. Come and meet Hot Dog to see if you are able to give him the home he deserves.
