San Gabriel Valley Humane Society

851 E. Grand Avenue
San Gabriel , CA 91776 United States
Phone: (626) 286-1159

Name: Cleocattra
ID: 29002
Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Age: 2 years old
Weight: 8 pounds
Fur: Gray and White

Cleocattra is a very calm and petite two year old tabby who was rescued from a life on the streets. When she first arrived at the shelter, Cleocattra preferred watching the activity around her from the safety of a cardboard box. She still is shy, but no longer needs to hide in a box. Cleocattra likes people to approach her slowly and she clearly relaxes into a hand stroking her head and ears. She is becoming more interested in playing as she comes forward to investigate toys and is alert following flying feathers with her eyes. These are signs her next step will be pursuing the toy. She has made steady progress adjusting to shelter life. Cleocattra needs a companion or family that will be patient with her and give her the opportunity to be the Queen of her new forever home. Please come meet Cleocattra to see if your home will give her the adoration she is seeking and deserves. Her adoption fee is $99 and includes spay surgery, vaccinations, microchip and a free wellness exam at a participating veterinarian.

Name: Neferkiti
ID: 28883
Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Age: 2 1/2 years old
Weight: 10 pounds
Fur: Brown

Neferkiti thinks and acts like royalty, in the manner of her namesake, Egyptian Queen Nefertiti. She believes her adoring subjects should come to her and shower her with affection. She likes to sit in her corner, peeking out from behind the blanket fringe, and observe the world around her. She patiently waits for her name to be called and then she comes forward for that deserved adoration. Whether Neferkiti is lounging in her bed or on your lap, she loves to have her silken fur stroked. She is becoming used to being brushed, but she doesn’t need much help keeping her coat glossy. Her name means “the beautiful one is come” and our feline queen is a beautiful brown tabby with an elegant white bib accenting her pink nose and golden yellow eyes. As well as companionship, Neferkiti will provide entertainment and be a playmate. She is only 2 years old and especially likes to play with small stuffed mice marinated in catnip. She also will drop her royal calm act to bat at flying feathery things and balls with bells. Come in and visit with Neferkiti and see if it is your royal household she belongs in. Her adoption fee is $99, which includes spay surgery, a microchip, first vaccinations and a free wellness check-up at a participating veterinarian.

Cleocattra and Neferkiti currently reside at the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society located at 851 E. Grand Avenue in San Gabriel, which is located off San Gabriel Blvd, north of Mission and south of Las Tunas Drive. To arrange a ‘Meet and Greet’, please stop by any time from 10:30am to 4:30pm Tuesday through Sunday.
