Here are the people running for Alhambra City Council and school board

Candidates had until yesterday to file their declarations of intent to run for Alhambra City Council and the Alhambra Unified School District Board of Education. The City of Alhambra has posted the names of everyone who has filed their paperwork.

The Alhambra City Council has three open seats. In the first district, Laura Tellez-Gagliano, Katherine Lee and Andrea Marie Lofthouse are running. Ross J. Maza and Thaddeus W. Wiecek are running for the second district seat. And Adele Andrade-Stadler, Suzi Dunkel-Soto and Julian Vincent Reyes are running for the fifth district.

For school board, James David Kurlich of Monterey Park is running against the incumbent Robert Gin in the fourth nominating district. Bobbi Bruesch is running against Joanne Russell Chavez in the fifth nominating district.
