Alhambra , CA United States

At 6pm, the Alhambra Unified School District Board of Education will meet to pass a resolution addressing school safety in the wake of recent mass shootings at schools in the United States. In the resolution, the district pledges to hold school drills, review safety protocols and work with local organizations on school site and district emergency plans. The resolution also urges the state of California and U.S. Congress to invest more in anti-bullying services and to pass legislation that reduce the risk and severity of gun violence in U.S. schools.

The school board will also consider a measure to conduct audits on the Measure C and Measure MM bond money intended for school facility upgrades.
