Alhambra Unified School District to issue bonds passed in 2016

Alhambra , CA United StatesThe Alhambra Unified School District is ready to issue bonds related to two measures passed in 2016.
The district is requesting that the Alhambra Unified School District Board of Education adopt a resolution to issue a maximum of $25,000,000 in bonds from Measure HS, a $149,000,000 bond measure for Alhambra’s high schools. Administrators are also requesting the issuance of a maximum of $30,000,000 in bonds from Measure AE, a $110,000,000 elementary school bond.
The purpose of these bonds is to upgrade school infrastructure, including computer technology and air conditioning.
Alhambra Unified Spokesperson Toby Gilbert will also launch a campaign about the many visual and performing arts opportunities available to students at the board meeting.
