Alhambra Unified School Board to introduce oversight committee for district bonds meant for facility upgrades

At 6 pm, the Alhambra Unified School District Board of Education will meet to introduce the members of an independent oversight committee that will oversee use of money from two school bonds to upgrade Alhambra Unified school facilities. Possible projects include updating computer technology, installing new air conditioning units and removing asbestos and lead from facilities. The school board will also recognize the administration’s response to the First Student, Inc. bus strike, and conduct a public hearing about its annual and five-year developer fee report. A full copy is on display at the Alhambra Unified School District offices on 1515 W Mission Rd.
