Alhambra first responders put out structure fire on Main Street

Alhambra firefighters successfully battled a fire on early Friday morning on Main Street.

The fire started at 924 E Main St, according to a Facebook post from the Alhambra Police Department. They assisted the Alhambra Fire Department in battling the blaze, shutting down the area around the fire. The fire was out by 5 a.m.

City News Services reported that firefighters put out a fire in the same building earlier that day.

The building is still closed while firefighters complete their investigation, said Alhambra Fire Department Battalion Chief Doug Shonkwiler.
