South Pas vendors charged in raw goat milk conspiracy case

Two farmers market vendors charged in a criminal conspiracy case of selling and producing unpasteurized goat milk products without a license have plead not guilty; a third will be arraigned Friday, South Pasadena Patch reports.

The owner of Healthy Family Farms, which sells eggs and poultry every Thursday at the South Pas Farmers Market, one of her employees and the owner of an unlicensed Venice market, were arrested Wednesday on criminal conspiracy charges stemming from the alleged illegal production and sale of unpasteurized goat milk, goat cheese and other products, the Los Angeles County District Attorney reports. 

Sharon Ann Palmer, 51, James Cecil Stewart, 64, and Eugenie Victoria Bloch, 58, were charged in a 13-count complaint, BA 385253, which includes four conspiracy counts.
