Such a valuable source of what’s happening in city where we live. Objective reporting that informs us and allows us to come to our own conclusions.

Relax, it's our next photo challenge

Time for our next photo challenge: this round’s theme is “Leisure Time in Alhambra.”

As the summer heat drags on it’s always nice to catch one’s breath in the shade of a tree or watch the sunset. The Alhambra Source wants to see your best leisure images in the city – activities in the shade, cold drinks at a café, or a hammock filled with puppies. Whatever puts you at ease, we want to see that particular picture, even if it’s a photo of your favorite park in Alhambra.

Rules: We're going to let Alhambra pick the winners this time around. That's right, you decide. As photos come in, we'll feature them on our Facebook, Twitter and other forms of social media and let people choose their favorites. We'll also do a voting poll on the site.

  • No limit on entries, as long as they are of different subjects.
  • Instagram images should be tagged with #alhambrasource. Don’t worry, we’ll find them.
  • Prizes will be announced closer to the end of the challenge.

Deadline: September 3, 2012.

Send your photos to [email protected] And good luck!
