Pet of the week: Beatrice from the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society

Name: Beatrice

ID: 5259

Gender: Female

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Age: 6 years

Weight: 7 pounds

Fur:  Brown Tabby

Beatrice is a petite, beautiful 6-year-old brown tabby girl who has been waiting for her forever family to find her for 4 years! Her kiwi green eyes calmly gaze out at the world seeking loving eyes to look back. Her play style is slow-and-go. She likes it when toys and flying things come to her. Staff and volunteers believe that since she is such a calm and sweet girl, she lets newer, spunkier residents get the attention. But she's waited long enough and would very much like to have her own home with people to shower her with love all day and night. Beatrice loves to get attention from visitors and even often takes the initiative to approach people, asking politely to have her very soft fur petted.

Beatrice is inviting you to come visit her in Mini Manor and consider becoming her forever family. November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month! All cats and dogs that are 6 years and older qualify for this promotion. Beatrice’s adoption fee is $39 this month and includes spay surgery, vaccinations, microchip and a free wellness exam at a participating veterinarian.

Info on "Adopt a Senior Pet Month."

The San Gabriel Valley Humane Society is located at 851 E. Grand Avenue in San Gabriel.  We are off San Gabriel Blvd, north of Mission and south of Las Tunas Drive.  To arrange a ‘Meet and Greet’ with Beatrice, please stop by any time from 10:30am to 4:30pm Tuesday through Sunday. See our website at www.sgvhumane.org for information and photos of all our wonderful pets.
