Overnight parking enforcement in Alhambra suspended over the holidays

Overnight parking enforcement will be suspended in Alhambra between Dec. 21 and Jan. 5, according to a Friday post from the Alhambra Police Department Facebook page. Parking enforcement will resume on Jan. 6 at 2 a.m.

The police department will be suspending enforcement "in the spirit of the holidays," according to the Facebook post. "With the holiday season upon us, people will be visiting the City of Alhambra and its residents," wrote Alhambra PD, attaching an image of Santa Claus with a red automobile.

Parking without a permit is usually prohibited on all Alhambra streets between 2 a.m. to 6 a.m, seven days a week, according to Alhambra Municipal Code.

  1. I paid for online parking permits 3 nights during the
holiday exemption. How do I get my card credited the $10.50.

    1. So you are saying they accepted your payments online? The city staff should have adjusted the website to not accept payments during the holiday exemption period.
