On the agenda: Will Blitz's alcohol license be revoked?

Alhambra City Council will hold a public hearing Tuesday night regarding the city budget for the 2013-2014 fiscal year and an improvement plan for the 2013-2018 fiscal years. After hearing public opinion, council members will vote on approving the budgets for the city, Golf Course Clubhouse Corporation, Alhambra Capital Improvements Corporation, the Alhambra Public Financing Authority, and the Capital Improvements Plan.

Alhambra's Planning Committee has revoked Blitz Ultra Lounge's alcohol license and outdoor smoking patio, and the Main Street nightclub is appealing the decision. Council will hold a special meeting tomorrow at 6 p.m. to hear their appeal and decide whether to support the revocation.

City Council usually meets every second and fourth Monday of the month at 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. at City Hall, but are meeting Tuesday due to the Memorial Day holiday. Read the complete agenda below. You can also download the document or make it larger using the controls on the bottom.
