On the agenda: Picnic shelter replacement at Alhambra Park

Alhambra City Council will vote Monday whether or not to contract with Southern California Rooms to replace picnic shelters at Alhambra Park. City staff received four bids for the project, ranging from $187,400 to $266,000. After the lowest-bidding contractor did not meet bidding requirements, the staff selected Southern California Rooms, which submitted the second-lowest bid at $203,880.

Although there are currently no canopies on the park's picnic shelters, the Parks and Recreation Department is still accepting reservations for their use, according to the department.

City Council meets every second and fourth Monday of the month at 5:30 and 7 p.m. at City Hall. Read the complete agenda below. You can also download the document or make it larger using the controls on the bottom.
