On the agenda: Nissan to present new Main Street auto dealership

Nissan will present Monday to Alhambra City Council plans for a new car dealership at 801 E. Main St., the current site of the Cadillac building. The proposal includes expanding or moving the existing Nissan dealership at 726 E. Main St.

Council will also vote on re-awarding a five-year contract to Southland Transit to operate the Alhambra Community Transit (ACT) and Alhambra Senior Ride programs. City Council received two proposals for the programs, one from MV Transit for approximately $1.5 million and one from Southland Transit for $1.4 million. Southland Transit operates transit services in 11 Los Angeles County cities.

City Council meets every second and fourth Monday of the month at 5:30 and 7 p.m. at City Hall. Read the complete agenda below. You can also download the document or make it larger using the controls on the bottom.
