On the Agenda: New thermal cameras for Alhambra fire trucks; Midwick Tract street improvements

Alhambra City Council will consider contracts for new thermal imaging camers for fire trucks, made possible due to a $125,000 grant from the Department of Homeland Security. The city will also qualify for additional new urban search and rescue equipment. Another contract will be considered for $1.5 million for Midwick Tract street improvement to be awarded to Shawnan, a Downey based highway and street construction company.

City Council meets every second and fourth Monday of the month. Read the complete agenda below. You can also download the document or make it larger using the controls on the bottom.
