Meet Winston at the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society

Alhambra Source partnered with the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society for a weekly column, "Pet of the Week." Every week we'll introduce you to a new animal looking for a home. This week's pet is Winston, a Staffordshire and American Bulldog mix. Read more about Luna Lovegood below!

Name: Winston

ID: 24700

Gender: Male

Breed: Staffordshire/American Bulldog mix

Age: 4 years

Weight: 60 pounds

Fur: Tan and White

Winston is a striking four-year-old Staffordshire/American Bulldog boy with fun and unique looks that are a perfect match to his clownish personality.  This low-to-the-ground pup has a nice tan and white coat, beautiful brown eyes, and an ear to ear smile that is bound to brighten anyone’s day. One of his top talents is that he has very expressive face and many expressions to share! Winston is a loving and playful boy who enjoys long walks with frequent breaks to sniff his surroundings and watch people go by. He also likes to play in the water on a hot summer day, strut his good looks around the neighborhood and  relax on a friendly lap while squeaking toys are around.

Winston came to the shelter after he was found wandering the streets of Rosemead.  While it is unknown how long he was without a home, it was clear that he had not been cared for in a long time.  If you would like to have a fun pup join your family, please come meet this handsome boy! His adoption fee is $145, which includes neuter surgery, a microchip, first vaccinations and a free wellness check-up at a participating veterinarian.

The San Gabriel Valley Humane Society is located at 851 E. Grand Avenue in San Gabriel.  We are off San Gabriel Blvd, north of Mission and south of Las Tunas Drive.  To arrange a ‘Meet and Greet’ with Winston, please stop by any time from 10:30am to 4:30pm Tuesday through Sunday. See our website at www.sgvhumane.org for information and photos of all our wonderful pets.
