Meet Sonnet, a dachshund, at the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society

Name: Sonnet
ID: 16490
Gender: Male
Breed: Dachshund
Age: 7 years
Weight: 12 pounds
Fur: Black with tri-colored coat
Sonnet is a seven year old dachshund gentleman who weighs 12 pounds. He is black in color with the typical tri-colored dachshund coat. He has a very mellow, sweet disposition, is friendly to people, and loves their pets and attention and especially belly rubs. On his walks, he is very confident and carries himself well. He has medium energy and walks very nicely on a leash at a steady pace.  Those little legs can really move!
He is very interested in meeting the other dogs and enjoys playtime. He is easy to harness and very cooperative while being dressed in a sweater for a chilly night. Maybe you’ll see him in a high fashion designer outfit at this month’s Tea for Tails/Taste of Westfield on the 26th! Sonnet is a delight to walk and spend time with. He would be very easy to take care of and be a loving family pet. Please stop by the shelter and meet Sonnet.
Sonnet’s adoption fee is $120. This includes his neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip, and a free wellness exam at a participating veterinarian.
If you are interested in meeting Sonnet or any of the other wonderful pets at the shelter, visit the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society at 851 E. Grand Ave., San Gabriel, Calif., 91776, Tuesday through Sunday.  For more information, call (626) 286-1159.  See our website at www.sgvhumane.org for information and photos of all our wonderful pets and information on the upcoming Tea For Tails/Taste of Westfield. At the event you can meet Warren Eckstein and Garth Kemp, who are both animal lovers, enjoy food, fashion, and gifts from your favorite mall businesses, and support the mission of the shelter in ‘Putting People and Pets Together’.
