Rufus is a very sweet, smart boy with a calm temperament. He loves people and enjoys being petted. He also loves to romp, play, and fetch. Rufus happily sits for treats, and has already learned the importance of walking on a leash without pulling. He has been to one social outing and was a perfect gentleman.

Rufus's adoption fee is $135, which includes a neuter surgery, a microchip, first vaccinations, and a free wellness checkup with a participating veterinarian.

If you are interested in meeting Rufus or any of the other available animals at the shelter, visit the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society at 851 E. Grand Ave., San Gabriel, Calif. 91776, Tuesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. For more information, call (626) 286-1159.
