Meet Rocky Road at the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society

Alhambra Source partnered with the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society for a weekly column, "Pet of the Week." Every Thursday, we'll introduce you to a new animal looking for a home. This week's pet is Rocky Road, a domestic short hair mix. Read more about Rocky Road below!

Name: Rocky Road
ID: 5330
Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic short hair mix
Age: 2 years
Weight: 6 pounds
Fur: Black and white

Rocky Road  has a soft silky short black and white coat that gives her a striking appearance.

She is playful and full of energy. At the end of a long day of fun, she enjoys relaxing next to her cat friends. She does play hard to get with people, but approach her slowly, show her a feather toy and her playful nature takes over!

Come by to meet Rocky Road and consider giving her a forever home.  She would be a wonderful companion and a great addition to a lucky family.

To celebrate "Fall is For Felines," all cats one year and older are available for the special reduced adoption fee of $39, which includes spay/neuter surgery, a microchip, first vaccinations and a free wellness check-up at a participating veterinarian.

Please come in to meet Rocky Road and her friends in person. They will charm you with their feline antics and playful nature. If a feline is in your future, you won’t want to miss this limited time celebration.

If you are interested in meeting Rocky Road or any of the other available cats and kittens at the shelter, visit the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society at 851 E. Grand Ave., San Gabriel. Stop by any time from 10:30am to 4:30pm Tuesday through Sunday to arrange a meet and greet with Rocky Road. For more information, call (626) 286-1159. See our website at www.sgvhumane.org for information and photos of all our wonderful pets.
