Meet Oscar the domestic short hair at the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society
Alhambra Source partnered with the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society for a weekly column, "Pet of the week." Every Thursday, we'll introduce you to a new animal looking for a home. This week's pet is Oscar, a male domestic short hair. Read more about Oscar below!
Name: OscarID: 6244 Gender: Male Breed: Domestic short hair Age: 2 years Weight: 12 pounds Fur: Brown and white
Oscar is a sweet, handsome boy with a very playful personality. He loves tossing and chasing his toy mouse and entertaining shelter volunteers with his antics. He's an active, playful young adult cat that will be a wonderful companion. Please stop by to meet him and consider adopting.
To celebrate 90 years of serving the San Gabriel Valley, the SGVHS rolled back cat adoption fees to 1920s prices in October. As a result of the $24 adoption fee, 56 happy cats found their forever homes! For those who missed out, the shelter will continue the reduced adoption fee program until the end of November. If a cat is in your future, take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to make it happen. There is plenty of time to welcome a feline into your family for the holidays!
If you are interested in meeting Oscar or any of the other available animals at the shelter, visit the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society at 851 E. Grand Ave., San Gabriel, Calif. 91776, Tuesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. For more information, call (626) 286-1159.
