Meet Lilo the Chihuahua mix at the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society

Alhambra Source partnered with the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society for a weekly column, "Pet of the week." Every Thursday, we'll introduce you to a new animal looking for a home. This week's pet is Lilo, a female Chihuahua mix. Read more about Lilo below!

Name: Lilo ID: 13028Gender: FemaleBreed: Chihuahua mix   Age: 1 yearWeight: 8 poundsFur: Short, black with white paws

Lilo is full of puppy energy and is very curious about the world around her. She loves to play and loves her toys!  She is a happy, friendly, affectionate dog who will cuddle on your lap and give you kisses. Then she will jump down and play some more.

Lilo loves going on walks with our volunteers, but she has not had a lot of experience walking on leash. She would benefit from some training classes to learn the proper way to walk with her partner. She is a clever girl and no doubt she would catch on fast. Come in and meet the lovely Miss Lilo. You’ll be glad you did!

Lilo's adoption fee is $120, which includes her spay surgery, a microchip, first vaccinations, and a free wellness checkup with a participating veterinarian.

If you are interested in meeting Lilo or any of the other adoptable animals at the shelter, visit the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society at 851 E. Grand Ave., San Gabriel, Calif. 91776, Tuesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. For more information, call (626) 286-1159.
