Meet Jordan the domestic short hair mix at the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society

Alhambra Source partnered with the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society for a weekly column, "Pet of the week." Every Thursday, we'll introduce you to a new animal looking for a home. This week's pet is Jordan, a male domestic short hair mix. Read more about Jordan below!

Name: JordanID: 13636                                Gender: Male       Breed: Domestic short hair mix      Age: Baby       Weight: 5 pounds      Fur: Buff and White

Jordan is a very handsome boy with a playful nature. Pictured above with his signature "high five" greeting, he wants you to know that he is one cool cat.

He is affectionate and isn’t afraid to show it. He likes people and wants them to hold and cuddle him. Jordan also gets along well with his young friends. Visitors love to see him playing and tumbling with his fellow kitties.

To celebrate 90 years of serving the San Gabriel Valley, we have rolled back cat adoption fees to 1920s pricing. Adoption fees for all cats are only $24 for the month of October. This adoption fee includes neuter surgery, a microchip, first vaccinations, and a free wellness checkup with a participating veterinarian.

If you are interested in meeting Jordan or any of the other available animals at the shelter, visit the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society at 851 E. Grand Ave., San Gabriel, Calif. 91776, Tuesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. For more information, call (626) 286-1159.

Independent journalism is a bedrock of democracy--and it's in crisis. Here at the Alhambra Source, we're committed to covering the local stories that matter most to you. We don’t have advertisers and we don’t have pay walls, but we do have bills. You read to the end of this story. That's great. But this kind of journalism will end without public support. Join us!
