Meet Griff at the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society

Alhambra Source partnered with the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society for a weekly column, "Pet of the Week." Every week we'll introduce you to a new animal looking for a home. This week's pet is Griff, a Jack Russell terrier mix mix. Read more about Griff below!
Name: Griff
ID: 21928
Gender: Male
Breed: Jack Russell Terrier mix
Age: 5 years
Weight: 14 pounds
Fur: Tan and hite
Griff is a handsome Jack Russell terrier mix that found himself at the shelter when his owner moved to a home where no pets were allowed. He has a wire-haired coat of tan and white, and the most beautiful brown eyes that  match his fur.
The first thing we noticed about Griff is that he loves to play with toys, especially ones that let him chase and fetch. He seems to never tire of playing as long as someone is willing to throw toys for him to retrieve. Next, we discovered that Griff enjoys going for walks. He is easy to harness and walks well on the leash at a good pace, and will run if he has a willing partner. He seems to enjoy the company of all the dogs he has met. Griff is also very affectionate and happy to sit on a lap, receive pets and belly rubs.
This sweet boy would love to find a happy home with a yard where he can play, and a family who will throw his toys for him and give him some belly rubs. If Griff sounds like the right dog for your family, come in to meet him soon. He deserves to live happily ever after. His adoption fee is $130, which includes neuter surgery, a microchip, first vaccinations and a free wellness check-up at a participating veterinarian. Feel free to call us at (626) 286-1159 for more information on Griff.
The San Gabriel Valley Humane Society is located at 851 E. Grand Avenue in San Gabriel. We are off San Gabriel Blvd, north of Mission and south of Las Tunas Drive. To arrange a “Meet and Greet” with Griff, please stop by any time from 10:30am to 4:30pm Tuesday through Sunday.
