Meet Corky at the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society

Name: Corky

ID: 21523

Gender: Male

Breed: Chihuahua Mix

Age: 10 years old

Weight: 8 pounds

Fur: Tan and white coat

If you are looking for a calm, sweet dog that just wants to be your loving companion, you must meet Corky.  Corky is a 10-year-old Chihuahua mix, weighing a little over 8 pounds. Corky’s face is frosted with the white fur that comes with an older animal, but don’t let that fool you. Corky has a lot of life left and lots of love to give.  He was found as a stray dog, with no identification, lost on the streets of San Gabriel. No one has come to claim him, so he is available for adoption.

Corky is a friendly boy who enjoys meeting new people and other dogs. He loves receiving pets, back and belly rubs, and just sharing companionship. If there is a spot of sunlight available, he will seek it out to get warm on a cool day.  Corky has a calm, easy-going energy and enjoys going for walks. When he spends time in our play yards, he likes to play with other dogs, running and wrestling with his buddies.

Corky deserves to find a safe and loving home. Although he enjoys receiving attention, he is not demanding and would make a wonderful companion, happy to just share the couch with his family. If you can make a place in your home for this sweet boy, you will not be disappointed. Come meet Corky soon. San Gabriel Valley Humane Society is offering a special

December adoption fee of $40 is for all animals who have been with the shelter for 40 days or more. Corky qualifies for this special offer. Take advantage of this opportunity and make Corky part of your family. This adoption fee includes neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip and a free wellness exam at a participating veterinarian. Feel free to call us at (626) 286-1159 for more information on Corky.

The San Gabriel Valley Humane Society is located at 851 E. Grand Avenue in San Gabriel. We are off San Gabriel Blvd, north of Mission and south of Las Tunas Drive. To arrange a ‘Meet and Greet’ with Corky, please stop by any time from 10:30am to 4:30pm Tuesday through Sunday. See our website at www.sgvhumane.org for information and photos of all our wonderful pets.
