Meet Captain, a Great Dane mix, at the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society

Alhambra Source partnered with the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society for a weekly column, "Pet of the Week." Every Thursday, we'll introduce you to a new animal looking for a home. This week's pet is Captain, a Great Dane mix. Read more about Captain below!
Name: Captain
ID: 15077
Gender: Male
Breed: Great Dane mix
Age: 5 years
Weight: 80 pounds
Fur: Gray with white markings
Captain is a very handsome guy in the prime of his life. He is a five-year old Great Dane mix who is well-behaved and patient on his walks. As with all big dogs, exercise is the key to a happy companion. He is very good on leash and practice will make perfect. He loves people and affection. The Great Dane has a wonderful temperament, and is confidant, easy going, and friendly. Known as gentle giants, they are good natured and loving.
Captain is a very sweet boy who deserves a wonderful home. If one of your New Year’s resolutions is to "exercise more," Captain will be there for you! Why not come in and meet Captain, who will happily sit for a treat!
His adoption fee is $135, which includes his neuter surgery, a microchip, first vaccinations, and a free wellness check-up at a participating veterinarian. He currently resides at the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society located at 851 E. Grand Avenue in San Gabriel. We are located off San Gabriel Blvd., north of Mission and south of Las Tunas.
To arrange a "Meet and Greet" with Captain, please stop by any time from 10:00am to 4:30pm Tuesday through Sunday. Feel free to call us at (626) 286-1159 for more information.
Mark your calendar for our fourth annual Tea for Tails/Taste of Westfield event featuring Warren Eckstein and Garth Kemp, along with a doggie fashion show and treats from your favorite restaurants.
