Meet Buffalo the American Staffordshire terrier mix at the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society

Alhambra Source partnered with the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society for a weekly column, "Pet of the week." Every Thursday, we'll introduce you to a new animal looking for a home. This week's pet is Buffalo, a male American Staffordshire terrier mix. Read more about Buffalo below!

Name: Buffalo ID: 13302Gender: MaleBreed: American Staffordshire terrier mix  Age: 2 yearsWeight: 65 poundsFur: Blue with white markings

Big, blue, and handsome? That's Mr. Buffalo! This charming boy is definitely 65 pounds of doggie loving and wet kisses. He gets excited when he senses a walk or a jog coming his way, but then returns to his gentle self once you get going. He would make a great walking or running companion.

He loves back scratches and is definitely a huge fan of neck massages — he just melts all over you. Neck massages are one sure way to win this guy's heart!

We hope you'll stop in to meet this handsome guy and consider adopting!

Buffalo's adoption fee is $135, which includes his neuter surgery, a microchip, first vaccinations, and a free wellness checkup with a participating veterinarian.

If you are interested in meeting Buffalo or any of the other available animals at the shelter, visit the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society at 851 E. Grand Ave., San Gabriel, Calif. 91776, Tuesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. For more information, call (626) 286-1159.
