Meet Bertram the American Staffordshire terrier mix at the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society

Alhambra Source partnered with the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society for a weekly column, "Pet of the week." Every Thursday, we'll introduce you to a new animal looking for a home. This week's pet is Bertram, a male American Staffordshire terrier mix. Read more about Bertram below!

Name: Bertram ID: 12746Gender: MaleBreed: American Staffordshire terrier mix  Age: 4 yearsWeight: 73 poundsFur: Tan and white

Bertram is a very sweet boy with an affectionate nature and big heart. He loves people, attention, and being petted. He loves his walks and looks forward to whatever adventures come his way.

Well behaved, this big boy would love to be an important part of a lucky family’s life. He went to an adoption event last weekend and happily greeted everyone — a perfect breed ambassador. We hope you'll stop in to meet this handsome guy and consider adopting!

Bertram's adoption fee is $135, which includes his neuter surgery, a microchip, first vaccinations, and a free wellness checkup with a participating veterinarian.

If you are interested in meeting Bertram or any of the other available animals at the shelter, visit the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society at 851 E. Grand Ave., San Gabriel, Calif. 91776, Tuesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. For more information, call (626) 286-1159.
