Meet Adele at the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society

Alhambra Source partnered with the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society for a weekly column, "Pet of the Week." Every Thursday, we'll introduce you to a new animal looking for a home. This week's pet is Adele, a rabbit. Read more about Adele below!

Name: Adele
ID: 17532
Gender: Female
Breed: Bunny rabbit
Age: 1 year
Fur: White with black spots

Adele is a very pretty, friendly rabbit who likes attention.  She has a beautiful silky soft white coat with unique black markings on her ears and around the eyes with small black spots on her back. She is a big carrot lover and will happily munch on one as a treat. She has a calm temperament and would make a wonderful pet for rabbit lovers.

She is eager to find a home. Please stop by, feed her some carrots or beet tops and get to know her. She would love to be part of a family.

Her adoption fee is $40 which includes her spay surgery, a microchip, first vaccinations and a free wellness check-up at a participating veterinarian.
If you are interested in meeting Adara or Harvey, our other rabbits, or any of the other wonderful animals at the shelter, visit the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society at 851 E. Grand Ave., San Gabriel, Calif., 91776, Tuesday through Sunday. The shelter is closed Mondays.  For more information, call (626) 286-1159 or visit our website at http://www.sgvhumane.org/.

Independent journalism is a bedrock of democracy--and it's in crisis. Here at the Alhambra Source, we're committed to covering the local stories that matter most to you. We don’t have advertisers and we don’t have pay walls, but we do have bills. You read to the end of this story. That's great. But this kind of journalism will end without public support. Join us! Support the work and the democratic values it serves. Donate now!
