Mark Keppel and Alhambra ranked among the top 1,000 public high schools in the country

Mark Keppel and Alhambra high schools are two of the top 1,000 public high schools in the nation, according to U.S. News and World Report. The publication evaluated more than 21,000 public high schools in the U.S. and ranked them based on student performance on state exams and college readiness. 

Mark Keppel came in at 595 nationally and almost broke the top 100 in the state, ranking at 114 out of more than 2,000 public high schools in California. Alhambra High School scored 723 nationally and 138 statewide. San Gabriel High School ranked 1,093 nationally, and came in at 237 in California.
