Man killed in DUI car crash on 10 Freeway identified*

Updated 3.20.13:

Authorities have identified the man killed Sunday in a two-vehicle car crash on the 10 Freeway in Alhambra as Hsueh Wang, 48, of Alhambra, Pasadena Star-News reports. Wang died of multiple blunt force injuries, a Los Angeles County Coroner's Office spokeswoman said Tuesday. 

Originally reported 3.19.13:

A man was killed Sunday in a car crash on the 10 Freeway in Alhambra, Pasadena Star-News reports. The driver of the other car was arrested on charges of vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

The man was sitting in the backseat when his vehicle crashed into another car near the northbound Garfield Avenue exit at 9:30 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other passengers — a female driver and male front passenger — were sent to local hospitals for medical attention. Three male passengers were in the second car and none were injured.
