A man was found dead on Thursday morning at an apartment complex located at 821 West Marino Avenue. Authorities have identified the victim as 35-year-old Francisco Marin, reports CBS Los Angeles. He is believed to have been homeless at the time of his death.
The Alhambra Police Department responded to a disturbance call at 2:47am on Thursday. The call said that a fight was possibly occurring. Authorities found Marin’s body upon arriving. “Initial examination of the victim showed no injury that would have explained his death,” the ADP announced in a press release. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office will investigate the cause of death.
Michael Osuna, a 26-year-old resident of the apartment complex, was arrested for one count of Penal Code Section 187, or murder. His bail was set at $1 million.
The Alhambra Police Department urges anyone with information to call (626) 570-5156.
