Man arrested for indecent exposure in Alhambra

A San Gabriel man was arrested Thursday morning after allegedly exposing himself to a woman in Alhambra.

Cesar Lozano, 30, reportedly called out to a 25-year-old pedestrian around 5 a.m. near Chapel and Linda Vista avenues, according to the Alhambra Police Department. Lozano exposed himself, exited his vehicle, and approached her, the female victim told police.

The victim allegedly told Lozano she had pepper spray, and he returned to his vehicle. The victim was able to see Lozano's license plate number before he drove away and reported it to officers.

Lozano was arrested for indecent exposure and for being out of compliance as a sex registrant. He is being held at the Alhambra Police Station in lieu of $35,000 bail, according to the police department. Lozano is scheduled to be arraigned Monday at Alhambra Superior Court.

Alhambra police believe there may be witnesses to this incident or additional victims. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Detective Orozco or Detective Sgt. Hammond at (626) 308-4847.
