IRS seeking bilingual volunteers

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is seeking bilingual volunteers to assist low income families, the elderly, the disabled, and non-English speakers during tax season, China Press(侨报) reports.

The IRS will need bilingual volunteers in immigrant-concentrated areas from Jan. 15 to April 15. Volunteers will work 3-4 hours per week, usually in community centers, libraries, schools, or shopping malls. Free training is provided and no prior experience is required.

Anyone interested in volunteering can find more information or register on the IRS website.
