San Gabriel school board gives nod to union labor deal

"The San Gabriel school board sided with organized labor Wednesday night, approving a deal that was applauded by the hundreds of union members in attendance, while residents promised political payback," the Pasadena Star-News reports. "In a 3-2 vote, the San Gabriel Unified School board gave the go-ahead to a project labor agreement (the district titled its agreement a 'project stabilization agreement')."
