Initiative nurtures creativity as funding for arts education get slashed

School districts such as Alhambra's have joined Arts for All, a country program that brings dance, music, theater and visual arts to the students.

This comes at a time when funding for arts programs is being slashed by the state. The program follows a long-term goal by assessing a student's strengths and weaknesses, and seeking local resources that can foster a child's creative side. More than 1,500 students have participated in Arts for All in the last two years.
