Hazardous chemicals leak from Monterey Park factory

About 0.5 gallons of ammonia and hydrogen bromide leaked from a computer chip manufacturing company, Kotura Inc., in Monterey Park at 3:30 am on Mar 15, the World Journal reports. There was no evacuation but firefighters kept people away from the area until 7:30 am. The leakage might have been caused by aging chemical containers, according to an administrator at Kotura Inc.
