Fire burns Alhambra residence, no casualty involved

Fremont Avenue and Ross Avenue
Alhambra , CA United States

A 60-year-old house at the intersection of Fremont Ave. and Ross Ave., Alhambra, caught fire at about 8:00 am on Jan 31. Nine fire trucks from the Alhambra and South Pasadena Fire Departments responded to the incident. Four residents were able to escape from the fire but the fire department estimates a $140,000 loss, the World Journal reports. Cause of the fire is still under investigation. The owner of the house suspects the cause to be old electrical wire problems.
