Excessive sulphur content detected in Chinese angelica herbs

Local press in China recently reported that some farmers use excessive sulphur to preserve Chinese angelica, which can be harmful to the human body. According to a shop assistant in a Monterey Park Chinese drug store, all Chinese angelica sold there is imported from China. He suggested consumers be cautious and avoid buying Chinese angelica.
