Civil Rights veteran gets new Chicano archive started at Cal State L.A.

"An archival program to document and preserve the rich history of Chicanos has been started in East Los Angeles, where it all began," Eastern Group Publications reports. "California State University, Los Angeles, aims to capture the history at the recently established the East Los Angeles Archive, according to Librarian Alice Kawakami."
